After more than 25 years of serving communities in NW Calgary, 88 Straight has now opened its doors in Airdrie and is excited to welcome new students!

At 88 Straight Music Ltd., we aim to personalize every piano lesson to meet the needs of our students and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each lesson is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only review their weekly tasks, but guide them through their musical journey, however each journey may look. While building connections with our students, our goal is to build lifelong confidence and enjoyment in musicianship.

Our experienced instructors have enjoyed many years of teaching and learning the piano. Through our individualized approach and expertise, we strive to pass our love for music and piano to our students.

Nicole Bannister, B.Ed, B.P.A.

Founder and Teacher

With a passion for music education, Nicole is a Royal Conservatory teacher and an elementary school music teacher who enjoys teaching music both in a classroom setting as well as in her private studio. She believes the creativity, inspiration, and mindfulness that music evokes is an important element of the human condition that should be embraced without limits.

Holly Bannister

Instructor

Growing up with a piano studio in her home, Holly was always interested in playing the piano. Having the resources at hand, and a little help from her mom, she worked her way through the Royal Conservatory levels. Playing at a grade 10 level, she likes to keep up to date with music trends, while helping students realize their music goals.
